Research Sector of the Future

In the ever-changing health and medical research sector, it is important for us to think ahead of the game to ensure our work is innovative and has best the possible outcomes for our community. In recent years, a number of themes have emerged that will change the way we do research in the future. These include open access, data and technology, diverse partnerships, and commercialisation. While these concepts are becoming more common, how to approach them in our own research careers is often unclear.

At this event, we are excited to welcome thought leaders on each of these four themes, who will share their expertise and offer practical tips for anticipating and leveraging these opportunities in your own careers. Their presentations will be followed by a panel discussion, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

We look forward to connecting with a room full of amazing women from across the health and medical research sector to discuss how the future will shape our research, careers, and workplaces!
