Mentoring Program Information Session
For Organisations Interested in Participating
Franklin Women is excited to be delivering its Mentoring Program in both Sydney and Canberra in 2022. This program connects mid-career women with leaders of any gender from a different organisation within the health and medical research ecosystem. Together, they go through a 6-month structured and facilitated mentoring and inclusive leadership development experience.
This information session is for representatives from organisations in NSW and ACT, to help them decide if the program would be valuable for the professional development of their staff and students, as well as their wider organisational gender equity goals. Representatives who attend often include Human Resources professionals, Diversity and Inclusion leads, or other organisational decision-makers. If you are an individual who is interested in participating in the program as either a mentee or a mentor, please approach your organisation about taking part (or email us if you’re not sure who to ask!)
At this session, Franklin Women will outline key program dates, eligibility criteria, and recently-published evaluation data that demonstrate the value of this program for both mentees and mentors alike. The program facilitators, Serendis Leadership, will provide an overview the 2022 program and the unique qualities that have lead to its impact. There will also be opportunities for previous participating organisations to share their unique experiences of the program and for new organisations to ask questions.
You can find more details about the program here, with 2022 Program Materials to be made available on the day. We look forward to seeing you online!

It has opened my horizon to a whole new range of possibilities and given me tools to take back to my roles to have a positive engagement with others. My mentor has been so terrific and thoroughly generous with his time and availability.”
