Free Webinar: Coping in the Moment

The last few months have been exceedingly tough as many of us attempt to stay on top of work and life pressures, in addition to managing feelings of uncertainty, frustration and sadness because of COVID-19.

Thanks to the kindness of WISPP, we would like to offer our community access to a pre-recorded webinar on Coping in the Moment, by clinical psychologist Dr Desiree Dickerson.

As Desiree reminds us, there is no handbook for navigating your career during a pandemic. But there are small things we can do to help manage the visible and not so visible stressors we are each uniquely facing with COVID. In this 1-hour webinar, Desiree will cover ways to:

  • Manage stress in the moment
  • Navigate uncertainty
  • Make some micro-changes that can have a positive impact right now

In a previous life, Desiree was a neuroscientist so she understands the unique context of research settings, which she takes into account in her webinar.

This webinar is free and can be accessed at any time that suits you between now and the end of September. Please register below to receive an email with the webinar link.

A heartfelt shout-out to WISPP who have given us access to this webinar after seeing the value it brought to their own researchers last year. This generosity and kindness from others is just what we all need right now.
