Connect with Franklin Women members and strengthen your professional network in this free, 50-minute members only event.

Was 2024 a year you thrived or survived? Join our end of year, after hours online social, to reflect on the highs, lows and in-betweens of your year. The event will open with reflections from Franklin Women Advisory Board Chair, Professor Robyn Norton AO who played a key role in establishing the Centre for Sex and Gender Equity in Health and Medicine, which was launched earlier this year.

We will guide the event and introduce conversation starters to take the ‘work’ out of networking and help the connections flow smoothly. Meaning that you get to focus on making meaningful connections with your fellow FW members – all from the comfort of your own computer.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Connecting with fellow FW members working in diverse roles and fields across the health and medical research ecosystem
  • Thoughtful icebreaker activities to help you kick off those connections on the right foot
  • The opportunity to expand and strengthen your network
  • An intimate, welcoming and safe online space where you’ll feel heard and understood.

Places are strictly limited to protect our interactive, intimate and inclusive environment – and keep the FW sparkle flowing! If you would like to come along, please RSVP under the ‘Tickets’ section below.

About the Members Connect Meetup series

The Members Connect event series aims to bring together our amazing FW members to strengthen networks and provide opportunities to engage with organisations and individuals who are driving trends and leading innovative programs of work that impacts health.

We know it’s not always easy (or possible!) to attend in-person Franklin Women events due to work schedules, caring responsibilities, travel time, or because crowded event spaces aren’t for you. That’s why our Members Connect events will be hosted across Sydney, Canberra and virtually at different days and times throughout the year – and they are FREE.
