Navigating Your Career During Menopause
Tuesday 16th September 2025, 12:00pm
Online WebinarIn the last few years there has been a huge cultural shift in conversations about menopause, especially in the workplace.
With these increasing conversations and new knowledge has come greater understanding of how menopause can impact a person’s experience at work. From workplace stigma and unexpected symptoms shaking professional confidence to a lack of practical supports or not knowing how to ask for these when they exist.
While in the past this has led to some people taking career breaks or even quitting, it is possible to successfully navigate your career during menopause, and leverage the strengths that can emerge during this life stage, especially with the right workplace supports.
To talk more about this, we’ve invited expert on menopause in the workplace, Thea O’Connor, to lead an interactive and practical session focused on
- education and foresight into what the transition can involve
- how to prepare psychologically
- practical strategies for managing the symptoms and advocating for yourself at work
- some simple, smart moves that can help protect your career long term
As always, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask Thea your questions and connect with the other wonderful people tuning in! And if you can’t join us live, you can also register below to receive the recording after the session.
*Webinar time is AEST
