Membership

All applications for membership must be made via the Franklin Women website located at www.franklinwomen.com.au (our website).

Members are charged a membership fee per year as outlined on our website. Membership fee is not refundable and non transferable for ‘change of mind’ purchases. Membership is not transferable to another person or company.

You must ensure that all details that you provide to us are accurate and true and that you will not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity in your application or your capacity as a member. Any personal information that you provide to us will be dealt with in accordance with the Franklin Women Privacy Policy. Members must promptly notify Franklin Women of any changes in personal information provided.

By becoming a member, you consent to receiving electronic communications from us, which you may opt-out at any time by unsubscribing via the email or via notifying us directly at [email protected].

Franklin Women does not take any responsibility for disputes between members and does not accept any liability whatsoever in relation to such disputes.

Terms of Sale

All bookings for an event run by Franklin Women must be made via the Franklin Women website. A booking is accepted once written notification is provided to you. An acceptance of a booking by Franklin Women is then to be an acceptance by Franklin Women and the Customer of these Terms of Sale to the exclusion of any terms and conditions imposed by the Customer. No booking is binding on Franklin Women until accepted by it.

Entry to any event may be refused if the Customer has not paid for the event in advance or at the time of the event.

Any booking cancellation must be in writing via email and will only be accepted if received as follows:

• If the cancellation is received at a minimum of 5 working days prior to the event date then a refund will be issued less an administration fee. Booking fee and credit card surcharges will not be refunded.
• If the cancellation is received less than 5 working days prior to the event date then no refund will be issued however the ticket is transferable to another person by the original ticketholder for the event booked.

The Customer acknowledges that cameras, audio and video recorders may not be permitted at certain events. Members acknowledge that Franklin Women films and photographs events and that the Member consents to Franklin Women using their name, likeness, image and or voice in the event that they are photographed or filmed in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting any service and or products supplied and or distributed by Franklin Women.

Ticket Prices are subject to change and Franklin Women will inform you accordingly if there is a change in Ticket Price. The Customer must pay the Ticket Price for an event and any applicable GST.

If an event is cancelled or postponed by Franklin Women, the Customer may, at its option, credit the Ticket Price towards another event, or obtain a full refund of the Ticket Price. No Administration fee will be charged.

Security

Where appropriate, Franklin Women uses available technology to protect the security of communications made through the Franklin Women website. However Franklin Women does not accept liability for the security, authenticity, integrity or confidentiality of any transactions and other communications made through the Franklin Women website.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Franklin Women from any loss, expense, damage or claim (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) arising out of your breach of the Terms of Use, your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property or privacy right, or any claim that any material posted by you on the Franklin Women website caused damage to a third party.

General

If any of the Terms of Use is determined to be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision is deemed severable from the Terms of Use and does not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

In the Terms of Use, any reference to Franklin Women includes its employees, officers, agents and contractors from time to time.
